The dojo is at 1339 Mission Street. This is between 9th and 10th Streets in the South of Market area of San Francisco.

Getting Started
We strongly suggest that you observe a class. If you have not visited a dojo before, note that you'll be asked to remove your shoes and hat before sitting down to watch. The instructor or a senior student will probably come over to exchange introductions and see if you need any information. As long as you don't interrupt the class, feel free to ask questions of the instructor and any students.

Schedule
Beginning students can attend all classes except the 7:15 p.m. classes marked for Advanced Training. Our full schedule offers daily opportunities for new students.

Fees
Membership dues of $95 monthly are paid monthly via automatic payment (either from your bank account or credit card). We offer a $270 Beginners' Special, which included three months of membership, waives a $25 registration fee, and includes a training dogi (uniform of top, pants and belt). This does not require setting up the automatic payment.

If work, school or vacation brings you to San Francisco, consider packing a dogi and joining us for training. If you forget your dogi and think you may just come to observe, we often have "loaners" so you can get on the mat.
We would be happy to answer any questions or concerns in advance. But there is no need to call or email ahead of time. Just plan on arriving a bit early so that you can meet the instructor, fill in the usual "waiver" form, and pay a mat fee. It is currently $15.
