Northern California’s
32nd annual
Atherton, California
June 8 - 14, 2008
Welcome Program Location

Time goes by so fast and the next Aiki Summer Retreat is already approaching. It will be our 32nd Camp!
Retreat location is again Menlo College, a peaceful Campus in beautiful Atherton, CA, near San Francisco.
We are looking forward to seeing you again and if you are joining us for the first time, you are warmly welcome!
Enjoy this opportunity to combine your summer vacation with a week of enthusiastic training with aikidoka from around the world.
Our schedule has slightly changed, so please check out our new schedule.

Participants will live and train together for a period of six days and nights. Although there will be a busy schedule of Aikido training in both empty hand and weapons techniques, there will also be ample time to enjoy the spacious grounds, tennis courts, swimming pool, and yes - the night life!

Bounded to the west by coastal hills and to the east by bay waters, Menlo College is nestled amid the quiet streets of Atherton, California. The San Francisco Bay Area is a mix of the old and new, drawing both on the romantic history of another century and contributing to the technology of today. This area ranks among the most inviting and picturesque in the world.

Accommodations Travel Arrangements

The residence halls are situated around a beautiful courtyard, scattered with trees and manicured lawns. Rooms are available for single or double occupancy. There are two large, clean, well equipped bathrooms on each floor that are shared dormitory style. Linens are provided.
